Philip Jacobs

Phil Jacobs has actively been involved in supporting the various fiduciary roles that the FFP team members hold, including participation in fund strategic decision-making, governance and investment making decisions of a diverse portfolio of fund mandates. Additionally, he is responsible for the management and realisation of a portfolio of various illiquid, hard-to-sell assets.

Prior to joining FFP, Phil worked in the assurance team at Deloitte in the Cayman Islands, focusing primarily on the audit of hedge funds, private equity funds and other asset management vehicles. Prior to joining the Deloitte team in the Cayman Islands, he spent time working in the investment management assurance team in New York City and the financial services assurance team in South Africa where his client portfolio consisted of hedge funds, private equity funds, asset managers, banking and insurance.

Phil holds a Bachelor of Business Science: Finance and Accounting and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. He is a member of the Chartered Accountants Institute of South Africa (SAICA), the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA) and is a CFA Charterholder.
