Caroline Moore

Caroline Moore is a senior manager specialising in providing independent fiduciary, insolvency and restructuring services to offshore registered companies.

She has over 13 years’ experience as a financial services professional, and has worked in the Cayman Islands offshore sector since 2008.

She has a strong understanding and broad insight into the risks, valuation methodologies and financial reporting requirements for a range of fund and asset types, as well as the roles and responsibilities of boards and service providers. Caroline is therefore well positioned to advise in respect of a variety of situations notably corporate governance and regulatory issues.

Her recent experience includes involvement in a number of investigations and complex liquidations of Cayman Islands funds involving a range of assets, and she currently acts as an independent director of a number of offshore funds and Special Purpose Vehicles. She is also closely involved with ground-breaking litigation arising from the failure of one of the feeder funds to the Madoff Ponzi scheme.

Prior to joining FFP, Caroline was a manager at a ‘Big Four’ Accounting and Advisory practice in the Cayman Islands, where she specialised in investment fund audit, covering a variety of structures and strategies, with an understanding of the many diverse issues affecting these structures.

She trained with PwC in the UK, gaining a wide range of experience across a diverse group of industries and entity types, from small owner-managed companies to FTSE listed public entities.

Caroline has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales since 2007 and is also a member of the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants, INSOL International, the Restructuring and Insolvency Specialists Association in the Cayman Islands, 100 Women in Hedge Funds, the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation and the Cayman Islands Directors’ Association. She is also registered with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority as an Approved Director and accredited in the same capacity by ICSA Canada.
