Adam Keenan is an experienced Insolvency Practitioner and is accustomed to working across a wide range of engagements in both offshore and onshore jurisdictions.
He has worked with many private equity and asset management firms to support the simplification of their corporate structures to return value to shareholders and has completed the managed wind down of several investment funds to efficiently bring their operations to a conclusion. He also has significant experience winding up insolvent entities, realizing assets, investigating the causes of failure and managing stakeholder disputes.
Adam began his career with E&Y in London and moved to Cayman in 2010 to join the Corporate Finance and Recovery team of PwC. He completed a secondment to PwC Canada in 2015 before moving to PwC Channel Islands in 2016 where he led the Business Recovery Services team in Jersey. Adam returned to Cayman in 2021 to support the growth of the insolvency and restructuring service offering at FFP.
Adam is a UK qualified Insolvency Practitioner and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists.
While in Jersey Adam served on the legal and regulatory committee of the Association of Restructuring and Insolvency Experts (ARIES), the industry body in the Channel Islands, and is a member of INSOL International, R3 and the Turnaround Management Association.
Adam is also a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA) and the Restructuring and Insolvency Specialists Association (RISA).
